    The Supreme People's Procuratorate stressed the need to rectify the damaged ecological environment of the Wanfeng Lake watershed through a public interest litigation case, marking the first direct handling of a public interest litigation case by the SPP, The picture shows four level prosecutors jointly inspecting the current water quality of the lake after the rectification.

    On March 25, 2021, under the theme of "Protecting sea turtles, guarding the ocean together", the second release activity of sea turtles involved in public interest litigation cases was carried out in Yongxing Island, Sansha city, Hainan. A total of 160 sea turtles were released back into the sea.

    On April 8, 2021, the Supreme People's Procuratorate decided to directly file a case and assigned prosecutors from four provinces to assist local governments in addressing such issues as boundary pollution, coal mine pollution, and ship and port pollution in Nansi Lake.
