Chinese procuratorates support more disadvantaged people in filing lawsuits

In the first half of this year, procuratorates across China assisted elderly people, disabled people and women suffering domestic violence in filing 43,000 civil lawsuits, 21.9 percent more than the figure for 2022, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Wednesday.
