The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) recently unveiled the results of the 2025 national selection of outstanding procuratorial recommendations on social governance, with 10 recommendations selected as outstanding cases.
In 2025, procuratorial organs nationwide, fulfilling their legal supervision duties and closely integrating their work with judicial case handling, issued high-quality and efficient procuratorial recommendations on social governance.
These recommendations played an active role in preventing and defusing major risks, supporting the development of the real economy, safeguarding the people's legitimate rights and interests, and advancing the building of a law-based government.
The SPP launched the national selection in February 2026. The selection received 160 recommendations from 32 provincial-level procuratorates across the country, out of which 10 were ultimately selected as outstanding recommendations.
The 10 recommendations cover key priority areas including ecological and environmental protection, food and drug safety, market entity regulation, protection of consumer rights and interests, and the management of foreign-related personnel, reflecting both the breadth and depth of procuratorial organs' participation in and contribution to social governance.
