This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the country's juvenile prosecution system. The seventh Procuratorial Publicity Week in the New Era, focusing on procuratorial protection for the healthy growth of minors, will be held from May 27 to June 2 across procuratorial organs nationwide.

This year's publicity week will fully showcase the development, proven practices and notable achievements in juvenile prosecution work over the past four decades, with the aim of guiding procuratorates nationwide to better fulfill the commitment to handling every case with high quality and efficiency, while enhancing comprehensive performance of duties and all-round protection for minors.

The initiative also seeks to promote coordinated efforts among families, schools, society, the online sector, government departments, and the judiciary to foster a sound legal environment for the healthy growth of minors.

According to the Press Office of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), procuratorial organs across the country will organize a variety of publicity activities tailored to local conditions during the publicity week. These activities include press conferences, open-day events, the release of white papers and typical cases on juvenile prosecution work, as well as legal education sessions and group interviews.

The SPP will also hold its own open-day event, release the White Paper on Juvenile Prosecution Work (2025), and hold a livestream event attended by its prosecutors. Through its official website and new media platforms, the SPP will showcase outstanding examples featuring juvenile procuratorial practices and legal education from across the country, thereby fully publicizing the achievements in this field.
