Documentary on public interest litigation wins top honor at China Mainland Media Influence Award

The documentary series, Serve the People, was recognized as the "Outstanding Documentary for Integrated Media Impact" at the 2025 China Mainland Media Influence Award, during the China Communication Innovation Trend Forum in Beijing. 

Under the guidance of the Public Interest Litigation Procuratorial Department and the Press Office of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the documentary was jointly produced by the Procuratorial Daily and the Shanghai Media Group. 

As China's first large-scale documentary dedicated to procuratorial public interest litigation, Serve the People premiered on July 15 across multiple platforms, including Dragon TV, iQiyi, and Kuaishou. Adopting a realistic narrative style, the documentary presents the authentic process of high-quality and efficient case handling by procuratorial organs in the new era, addressing a wide range of issues closely related to people's livelihoods. Since its release, the documentary has garnered widespread attention, accumulating more than 200 million views online. 

The China Mainland Media Influence Award is a highly influential event in China's media field. Serve the People earned this recognition for its profound thematic relevance, outstanding production quality, and extensive media influence.
