A micro movie titled Where Is My Home, which focuses on the development of the rule of law in rural areas against the backdrop of rural vitalization, has been released. The movie is a joint production of the China Procuratorial Press, the Minors Procuratorial Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), and the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Based on a true story, the movie tells the story of Zhuo Yu, a prosecutor from the minors procuratorial department, who went to a remote rural primary school to give a lecture on legal knowledge. During the visit, she encountered a girl named Zhaodi and discovered that behind the girl's unusual behavior lied a story of abduction and abuse. With the help of her superior Liang Jiazheng, Zhuo got the criminals punished in accordance with the law, and provided counseling to Zhaodi, ultimately helping the girl find emotional solace.
In recent years, procuratorial organs in China have prioritized legal education in rural schools in remote areas through various initiatives such as "rule of law education on campus", "rule of law education in rural areas", and prosecutors serving as deputy school principals for legal education.
From July to December 2022, the SPP launched the lecture tour promoting legal education in rural areas nationwide, especially in 160 key counties where special support is provided for rural vitalization.
The People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region took the lead in jointly issuing the Implementation Opinions on Promoting Comprehensive Assistance for Minor Victims with 10 other departments. This initiative facilitated the establishment of an integrated assistance model, leading to positive outcomes.
Procuratorial organs nationwide handling minor-related cases have used multiple assistance approaches, such as legal aid, judicial assistance, and counseling to help affected minors and their families overcome difficulties.
