Mongolian prosecutors’ delegation conducts study visit in China

From Jan 18 to 24, a Mongolian prosecutors' delegation participated in a study program in South China's Hainan province. Hosted by the International Cooperation Bureau of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate and organized by the Hainan Provincial People's Procuratorate, the program aimed to enhance friendship between China and Mongolia while fostering deeper exchanges between the two countries' prosecution authorities.

The study program featured a series of activities including seminars, symposiums and research visits.

Five prosecution experts from the Hainan Provincial People's Procuratorate delivered lectures on topics such as the investigation of crimes committed by judicial personnel in the performance of their duties, anti-money laundering efforts, procuratorial public interest litigation, crackdown on new types of crimes in telecommunications and cyberspace sectors, and juvenile prosecution.

Prosecutors from Inner Mongolia autonomous region shared their experiences with the Mongolian delegation based on their practice of case handling.

Mongolian prosecutors introduced their country's prosecution system, institutional structure, main responsibilities, as well as the investigation and handling of cases involving illegal use of anesthetic and psychoactive drugs.

Both sides also held discussions on other topics of mutual interest.

During their stay, the Mongolian delegation traveled to Sanya city and Baoting Li and Miao autonomous county to learn about China's prosecution efforts in tropical rainforest ecological conservation, ensuring the development of key industrial parks, enhancing safety in the tourism sector, and preserving traditional culture.

The study program concluded with a closing session that featured a book gifting ceremony.
