Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and Jordanian King Abdullah II, the political mutual trust between the two countries has been strengthened and pragmatic cooperation between them has made steady progress.

He noted that strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the legal and judicial fields to advance the China-Jordan strategic partnership is a shared responsibility of both countries' judicial and procuratorial authorities.

Chinese procuratorial organs are willing to work together with the judicial authorities of Jordan to explore cooperation potential, broaden collaboration areas, and provide judicial support for the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, further contributing to the development of bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations and their people, Ying said.

He noted that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Chinese procuratorial organs are actively implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and the resolutions of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body, regarding the work report of the SPP.

Focusing on the goal of ensuring the people feel fairness and justice in each and every judicial case, the procuratorial organs are effectively performing their legal supervision functions to serve the overall development of the country, administrate justice for the people and uphold the rule of law, he said.

They are continuously promoting Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law in procuratorial practices to better serve Chinese modernization with the modernization of procuratorial work, he added.

Ying noted that the SPP attaches great importance to the application of new technologies, such as information and digital technologies, in the procuratorial field, and has carried out the digital prosecution strategy, formulating plans for the construction of digital procuratorial work mechanisms.

It has also used technologies, such as big data and the identification of physical evidence, to empower legal supervision and enhance the quality and efficiency of case handling, he said.

While learning from Jordan's prosecution experiences, Chinese procuratorial organs are willing to share their experiences and technologies with Jordan to promote the development of procuratorial work in both countries, Ying added.

Ghazo and Thiabat expressed their gratitude for Ying's warm reception, highly praised China's achievements in the rule of law and in procuratorial work, and expressed their appreciation for China's application of new technologies in the procuratorial field.

They expressed the hope that Jordan would learn from the advanced experiences of Chinese procuratorial organs, and enhance exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' procuratorial authorities in such areas as information technology development, combating new types of crimes, and prosecutor training, in order to actively contribute to the consolidation and deepening of the friendship between the two countries.
