Special issue on foreign-related rule of law makes debut

The special issue of Shewai Fazhi (Foreign-related Rule of Law), launched by Procuratorate Daily, debuted on April 10.

Tong Jianming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and First Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), wrote the inaugural message for the special issue.

The special issue is designed to study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, and represents part of the efforts to conscientiously meet the requirements of the Party Leadership Group of the SPP to actively integrate into the overall coordination of the work on foreign-related rule of law and to further advance procuratorial organs' work in this field.

In the initial stage of its founding, the special issue will be published monthly, with each issue released on the second Wednesday of the month, comprising four pages.

The cover page will extensively report on key work on foreign-related rule of law and foreign-related procuratorial work, provide authoritative interpretations of major decisions made by the Communist Party of China Central Committee on foreign-related rule of law, and of major policies and measures related to foreign-related procuratorial work adopted by the SPP. It will also interpret new initiatives of procuratorial organs in serving and safeguarding the Belt and Road cooperation, free trade zones and free trade ports.

The "practice" page focuses on reporting on typical foreign-related cases handled by procuratorial organs, innovative practices and latest achievements in the work on foreign-related rule of law, as well as vivid practical experiences.

The "views and opinion" page mainly presents new outcomes in foreign-related rule of law theory and theoretical research about procuratorial work.

The "storytelling" page highlights prominent figures and cases in the field of foreign-related rule of law, as well as achievements in international exchanges.

The special issue plans to carry out integrated report by means of multimedia, closely cooperate with the official English website of the SPP, and make full use of new media methods to innovate the forms of communication in order to build a multi-dimensional foreign-related publicity system with a panoramic view, extend the reach and appeal and enhance the guidance and credibility of communication work on foreign-related rule of law, tell the story of the rule of law in China in a better way, and make the voice of China in this regard heard by the world.
