A national conference on the special training program focusing on the procuratorial protection of enterprises was held on March 28.
Ge Xiaoyan, a Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) as well as head of the SPP leading group for the special campaign of procuratorial protection for enterprises, attended the meeting and raised work requirements. Gong Ming, a Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Procurator General of the SPP, presided over the meeting.
It was noted at the meeting that since the launch of the special campaign of procuratorial protection for enterprises, the procuratorates nationwide have advanced the campaign with solid steps, identified and resolved prominent issues hampering the law-based business environment, and better served the high-quality development of the economy and society through high-quality and highly-efficient procuratorial work.
It was emphasized at the meeting that procuratorates at all levels should have an accurate understanding of the major objectives and key tasks of the campaign. They should be aware of the approaches to be taken for the campaign, and take solid steps to implement the deployment and requirements of the work plan for the campaign in accordance with local realities.
It is necessary to effectively rectify problems related to law enforcement and administration of justice for the pursuit of individual or sectorial interests, solidly push for the crackdown on internal corruption within private enterprises to create a favorable environment for fair competition.
It is essential to strengthen the supervision of false arbitration and notarization in accordance with the law, effectively ensure the full and correct execution of enterprise-related criminal adjudication, and strengthen the supervision of enterprise-related administrative litigation and administrative violations.
Procuratorates at all levels were urged to perform their duties in a proactive manner in accordance with the law. Procuratorates at the grassroots level are encouraged to take the initiative and promote innovation to constantly create vivid examples of procuratorial protection for enterprises and form experiences and practices that can be replicated and promoted.
