The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) and the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) released nine typical cases of joint judicial assistance carried out by procuratorial organs and women's federations.
The SPP and the ACWF decided to extend the campaign of strengthening special judicial assistance to disadvantaged women in February 2023. The campaign aimed to provide timely assistance to all eligible disadvantaged women through various assistance methods and increased efforts. Since the launch of the campaign, procuratorial organs and women's federations at all levels have closely worked together and achieved positive results.
The cases include some on providing comprehensive assistance to eligible women in difficulties that have been placed on file at the procuratorial organs, and cases that involve "supporting prosecution and providing judicial aid and diverse assistance" for disabled women victims of domestic violence and their underage children.
