In recent years, Shanghai procuratorial organs have earnestly implemented relevant legal provisions and the work deployment of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, actively performed the function of public interest litigation, focused on the protection of the rights and interests of special groups such as the disabled and the elderly, and continuously expanded the scope of public interest protection from barrier-free facilities to barrier-free information and social services, contributing procuratorial efforts to the construction of barrier-free environment in Shanghai.
