The national midterm priority development goals in Russia focus particularly on protecting citizens' health and well-being, as well as their potential for self-realization, creating decent working conditions and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, providing a comfortable and safe living environment, and ensuring digital transformation in all sectors. Currently, these tasks are being accomplished through 15 national projects.
The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, as the highest supervisory body, oversees the timeliness and effectiveness of the responsible ministries and regional authorities in implementing these tasks within its jurisdiction. When necessary, the Prosecutor's Office corrects the work behavior of irresponsible officials. In order to make the supervision activities in this new field more systematic, necessary legal frameworks have been established within relevant departments.
