In July 2023, the Islamic Republic of Iran officially became a member state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which increases the nation's responsibilities. We hope that Iran's membership will strengthen the SCO's mutual solidarity and coordinated response to threats.
Regarding the role of procuratorial authority in serving the modernization of the country, we believe that the procuratorial authorities of each member state should strengthen legal and judicial cooperation to combat financial crimes and smuggling; provide necessary legal and judicial assistance to expedite the resolution of commercial and economic cases and disputes; and exchange experiences and necessary skills in the field of national modernization.
